Southeast Texas Engagements – Ashley and AJ
This past week we filmed the engagement photos for Ashley and AJ, a handsome couple from Nederland – their wedding is coming up a little after Valentines day in February, so we’re going to have a whirlwind few months with them! 🙂
The session began with what seemed like perfect weather, until what locals are calling “The Swarm of ’09” set in on us in downtown Beaumont – I’ve never seen so many mosquitos in one place! We bravely gamed on, getting some great photos in the meantime 🙂
What Off! wasn’t able to keep away, photoshop was able to remove… 🙂
But really… once we moved further away from the river, things were much more bearable… Ashley and her beau changed into some more comfortable clothing, the sun descended a bit lower in the sky and ka-chow! the light was beautiful!
From there we moved on to the park in Port Neches – AJ wanted a few with his yellow lab, who was definitely a bit of a camera hound 😉
As the sun set we finished up with a few more of the lovebirds down by the river – gorgeous sky in the background. 🙂
I’m looking forward to the bridals and wedding… 🙂

What a beautiful couple. I am sure they are super happy with their engagement photos. You have captured both the emotion of the couple and included pieces of their life in their images. She will be a gorgeous bride.
