More wedding photos coming soon!

You may remember Jessica from Kyra and Ian’s gorgeous wedding this past year – Jessica was one of the bridesmaids. Fast forward to Jessica and John (two of the most genuinely nice people you could ever meet) are engaged and we meet to photograph their wedding![]()
They’re both living in Austin, tho they’re getting married in Beaumont – so we spent a recent afternoon photographing a stunning bride and her pink parasol – beginning at the St Michael’s Orthodox Church and a few outdoor locales around Beaumont.

The beautiful bride was complimented by one gorgeous fresh flower bouquet by April from A Touch of April

I loved the pink parasol, it was perfect for Jessica![]()

Just one more of the bouquet![]()

We finished up downtown, this alleyway making for a nice wind tunnel![]()

He loves me… he loves me.

Stay tuned for one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve been a part of, rich with tradition![]()
I love all the pink! Hehe!
Great job Allen! I can’t wait for the wedding photos!

Melanie (who’s from Lumberton) and Trey (who’s from Hamshire), met on Crystal Beach and are now living in Houston – so of course we had their engagement photos in Beaumont![]()
Both grew up in small town Southeast Texas and wanted more of a country feel to their session and with busy jobs in healthcare, squeezing in a fun afternoon together took a bit of work, but I believe it was worth it – pretty pictures ahead!![]()

Family member Baxter wanted to get in on the action, so he began by “saying his prayers” then showing us what a mighty dog he is.![]()

Good boy Baxter!
From there we headed downtown for a different vibe…

Moving to a nearby alley, Trey and Melanie didn’t need any coaxing to show their love for each other![]()

Congratulations to them on their upcoming Fall wedding, we’ll be seeing more of Melanie later in her bridal session.![]()

We began with a family portrait when we photographed Amy and Jim’s recent engagement session in Port Arthur. Slade, part dog and part horse, makes quite the handsome addition to the family![]()
The wind that day was just nuts, blowing us every way but straight, but Amy and Jim were up for it so we jumped in with both feet!![]()

hmm… I liked these in black and white, but the color of the day was definitely red…

Quite the handsome couple, their easy laughter made the afternoon in and around Lamar Port Arthur and the downtown area just fly by!

After changing into a new outfit, we moved on to downtown Port Arthur and the nearby seawall. Amy and Jim have deep roots in the area and it seemed every place we stopped Amy would tell me “that’s where my grandmother used to go to events”, “that bank is where my grandfather worked for many years”. Most of the area had definitly seen better days. In the 1920′s Port Arthur and the seawall were the places to see and be seen, have fun and relax.

Here Slade takes them for a early-evening walk:

Jim, an air-traffic controller with the local Jefferson County airport, wasn’t quite as bubbly as Amy but even he said the afternoon was quite enjoyable.![]()

As evening closes in, we make plans for more fun at their upcoming summer wedding – stay tuned for a crazy good time, the highlights here are some you won’t want to miss!
ahh.. these are so romantic and beautiful!
2 of the kindest people I’ve ever known for sure! They’re absolutely beautiful together in all sorts of ways! Great job as usual, Allen! Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday for Amy’s bridals! =)
[...] may remember Amy and Jim (and their horse Slade) from their engagement session in Port Arthur and her gorgeous bridal portraits in Galveston – quite the handsome couple and finally [...]
While working on Kristin and Aaron’s wedding album, I wanted to post a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Nederland (wow that church is gorgeous inside!) and the Beaumont Botanical Gardens.![]()
I love the fluidity in the day as we photograph Kristin writing to her love and later Aaron reading the love note :

![]()
The belle of the ball is almost ready and this handsome little fella is helping where he can:

I love this moment!

One more from their portraits in the Botanical Gardens:

More coming soon!
Hola! Feels like forever since I’ve been able to update the blog with pretty pictures
Today is my lucky day tho – expect a plethora of awesomeness over the next few weeks as the seasons hit full-stride and beautiful images come out to play!![]()
Our first wedding up is one I photographed recently with Marius, actually for Marius. We’ve been working together 3 years or so now and occasionally I get to shoot as a second photographer for him.
If you’ve seen my work here and held albums in my office, you’ve also seen Marius’ work. He does a great job and will be photographing weddings as an associate here now! If you’re wanting BellaFotografica at your wedding, and I’m already booked, Marius may well be available for you, just contact us above at the contact link![]()
Here are a few of my favorite details from a recent outdoor wedding at the Haak Vineyards and Winery:

Gorgeous color!![]()

As the sun set, the color was just as beautiful.

Aahhh… *great* day![]()
Absolutely stunning!!!!
“plethora of awesomeness” doesn’t event begin to describe these photos!
Can I get a “whoop! whoop!” (I know I just did that Aggie war yell wrong
) – Kristin’s recent bridal session on the Texas A&M campus was so much fun
The nuclear scientist, her sister Stephanie and mom Janice (and chauffeur/cousin with the blueberry crisps Erica) had us all over campus from the admin building to the Aggie Ring, to the Century Oak tree, Kyle field, the George Bush Presidential Library and the hallowed halls of Dixie Chicken. The following is some of my favorites from the afternoon![]()
We began on the steps of the Admin Building – beautiful columns.

Egged on by her sister Stephanie, Kristin throws in a little “sass”![]()

From the admin building we headed over to the Aggie Ring, a piece of jewelry Bill Haynes apparently paid a lot of money for![]()

Check out those eyes!

Yes, we were all over campus
– we finish up with a few I know will make the Aggie fatihful happy:

Whoop! After finishing up with burgers at the Chicken, I believe I was made Aggie for a day – I celebrated by getting lost on my way out of town.
Just kiddin… mostly.![]()
Stay tuned for their beautiful wedding photos!
