I got David’s swing out of the attic after being in storage a year and a half or so and since the batteries still worked… we decided Elise needed to try it out, I think she’s adapting quite nicely, don’t you think?

David (big brother) wasn’t so sure about the usurper to his throne at first:

(We ain’t proud, why do you ask?) I’ll post more later when I’ve gotten some other actual work finished, like our session with my brother and his three sons and a few others. See you real soon!

Melanie went into labor a bit early last night, so we went to the hospital to get checked, the doctor (Dr. Pieternelle) was walking up the hall as we walked off the elevator and said “there’s no use even checking you, you are less than 12 hours from the scheduled c-section, let’s go ahead and have her”.

Melanie’s eyes bugged, my mouth dropped and an hour later Elise was here! Just a few photos before I head back to the hospital:
