Nederland Wedding ~ Lauren and Chris
Lauren and Chris were married recently in a beautiful ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Nederland. We began the day at Tic Tac Nail (you so pretty :)) – a little pampering goes a long way to keeping you on your feet through the ceremony and dancing to follow. Before moving on the to church for a little finishing DIY, Lauren and her girls stop at Dornbos Park for a toast: Right about the same time, across town, Chris and his men follow suit: Making sure it’s perfect: It’s a whirlwind of activity as we get hair did, makeup, gifts, lacing… all leading up to the moment. A Wedding Album for Meagan and Ryder
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your 4th Celebrations were fun and you’re not getting too hot out in the sun. 🙂 We have a new wedding album we’d like to feature today, Meagan and Ryder’s gorgeous hand-built custom album from their recent wedding: Covered in a beautifully textured leather called “truffle” (ssoo soft to the touch), this album will last literally forever with care – imagine what a great family heirloom to pass down generations 🙂 Meagan and Ryder opted to purchase albums for their parents as well, these cute parent albums are the same design as their own and are great gifts they’re sure to love.

Great News!
As we get to the end of 2011, our best year yet, Marius and I would like to thank all our brides and grooms we’ve gotten to know over the past year. Your sharing our vision for what’s important in capturing your life’s best moments have allowed us to find those genuine real moments and gorgeous details throughout the year! That leads me to the next bit of news: I’ve been accepted into the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), an International, membership-based organization representing professional photographers skilled in the documentation of weddings and events in a candid, unobtrusive style. Nederland Weddings ~ Katie and Neal
Katie and Neal were married recently at Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland, with a beautiful reception at Beau Reve, here are a few of our favorites from their day. 🙂 You won’t find a more manly pair of grooms shoes in existence: I love how seriously Katie is applying the final perfections and her mom and sister are having a great time in the background 😀 The wedding decor at Beau Reve was perfection, Clyde’s did an exquisite job as usual 🙂 You just *can’t* have a wedding reception without a dancing and spinning flowergirl 🙂 What a fun day! Nederland Weddings ~ Meagan and Ryder
Meagan and Ryder were married recently at First Baptist Church, Nederland – gorgeous day, beautiful couple. While Ryder is getting ready, the ladies are stirring and Meagan arrives in style, with her lady-in-waiting Valerie close behind 🙂 Candles are lit, violin strings are tuned and little ring bearers get one final fit-check: Finally! The music sounds as Meagan makes her grand entrance! Nederland Wedding – Lindsey and Trent
A few of my favorites from Lindsey’s and Trent’s wedding! 🙂 We begin the day with our brides getting their ‘do on, usually at one of the local salons (this time at Salon Mecca), sometimes in their hotel room, always with lots of hair spray and waterproof mascara! 🙂 All eyes are on Lindsey as we check placement of the tiara: From there it’s on to First Baptist Church in Nederland, where everyone gets pretty before the big event: Meanwhile, Trent, looking all suave and GQ: 🙂 There’s a flurry of activity as the girls apply finishing touches: It’s beginning! Kristin and Aaron – Sneak Peek!
While working on Kristin and Aaron’s wedding album, I wanted to post a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Nederland (wow that church is gorgeous inside!) and the Beaumont Botanical Gardens. 🙂 I love the fluidity in the day as we photograph Kristin writing to her love and later Aaron reading the love note : 🙂 The belle of the ball is almost ready and this handsome little fella is helping where he can: I love this moment!
