    Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of Casey’s Trash the Dress (Rock the Dress, Unbustled, Rock the Frock 🙂 ) session images. For those who are not sure what that means, this is a session where the bride gets to flaunt her dress one more time for great photos, even if it gets a spot or 2 on it. We don’t destroy the dress, most dresses are very resilient and will clean up fine unless we get some good ol’ Southeast Texas red clay on it (we avoid that 😉 ).     I had some fun this past week, attending a seminar and photoshoot put on by John Michael Cooper of AltF infamy. John, whose work inspired the whole “Trash the Dress” craze, was in classic form – teaching, shooting, and inspiring. The day started off mildly, with John sitting down with us to discuss some of his background and thoughts behind his more famous images, then led us through some exercises in photographing engagement sessions.     Trash the Dress

    Recently I was a part of the huge Urban Trash the Dress event in Houston where more than 60 photographers photographed recently wedded brides strapping on that gorgeous dress once again for a final farewell photo to the gown she spent a fortune to wear for one day only. Brides and Models around the world are lining up for these fun and bazaar events. These so-called Trash the Dress photos have become all the rage with brides who want to add something unconventional or edgy look to their wedding albums. Here’s a few from that fun day 🙂
