Beaumont Baby Dedication | Waylan
It was a beautiful day for a wedding! Umm… a baby dedication! 🙂 This past year I made the decision to focus totally on wedding and wedding-related (engagements, bridals and trash-the-dress) events, really wanting to master what many consider a “niche” area in photography… that is until Scarlett brought little Waylan by and requested my documenting his dedication. How can you pass up his cute chubby cheeks? 🙂 It was a beautiful day for a baby dedication! Calder Baptist Church in Beaumont is a gorgeous church here in the Oaks Historic District. It’s a Girl!
Yes, we knew that part already, but it’s still fun to say 🙂 Melanie went into labor a bit early last night, so we went to the hospital to get checked, the doctor (Dr. Pieternelle) was walking up the hall as we walked off the elevator and said “there’s no use even checking you, you are less than 12 hours from the scheduled c-section, let’s go ahead and have her”. 😮 Melanie’s eyes bugged, my mouth dropped and an hour later Elise was here! 🙂 Just a few photos before I head back to the hospital: Beautiful mama waiting for the arrival: Yay!
