Southeast Texas Weddings | Kimberly and Kyle ~ Part One
After more than a year of our time with Kimberly and Kyle we finally came to the big day! Married in a beautiful ceremony in First Baptist Church in Vidor, Kimberly’s day began early at the hair salon where she got her hair did and makeup done.
Here Kimberly sits in the chair at Total FX getting her hairspray on 🙂
All 3 Kimberly’s are sighting in the placement of the feather and brooch on her netted veil:

Rings!
After makeup and hairspray were applied, it was off to the chapel where we’re gonna get married… Another beautiful day for a wedding!
Various bridal accoutrements go into making the bride the belle of the ball – something old, something new, something borrowed and something gold and lacey:
Kimberly’s mom assists with the veiling of the bride:

They’ve chosen to do a “first look” today, a way of getting the first glimpse of each other without a hundred eyes and 30 camera flashes on you. It’s a more intimate setting where you can be more of yourselves and enjoy each other’s company before getting started in the whirlwind of the ceremony and reception. Here Kimberly applies last minute adjustments before heading to see her man:
… and here’s a short slideshow giving us a sneak peek into their time together:
Afterwards we were able to get some nice portraits of them together, freshly made up and pressed together 🙂
With the extra time before the ceremony, we photographed all the family and bridal party formal portraits as well, here are a few:
Marius nails the men’s formals with creativity and style everytime 🙂
One more of the bridal party before we get ready for the actual ceremony:
OK, the moment is almost here… stay tuned for part two with the ceremony and reception next! 🙂
