Beaumont Engagements – Kyra and Ian
Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Ian, Kyra and her family – great people 🙂 Their wedding is coming up quickly in January here in Beaumont so we scheduled their engagement session 6 days after meeting 😀 The weather is turning perfect this time of year – the sun is setting a bit earlier, the temps are cooling and we’re getting gorgeous light during the evening golden hour. We wanted a mixture of “pretty” and “urban”, so we chose a few places in and around Beaumont that would give the feeling we were after: Being the center of Gulf Coast commerce for so long, Beaumont has plenty of railroad…

Devin and Michael – Sneak Peek
This past weekend we had the pleasure of shooting Devin and Michael’s engagement portraits. They said they were up for pretty much anything, so before the day was over we traipsed through fields, visited the Martin Luther King Memorial, dodged a train, listened to a band warmup, walked Canal St., hiked in grass over our heads, and rolled in the grass at Lamar University – you know, typical stuff we normally like to do in our engagement sessions 🙂 Definitely a couple comfortable in their own skin, Devin and Michael were a lot of fun to photograph – the relaxed atmosphere made the session fly by. Always easy with a…

Hailee and David’s Engagement
Yesterday we strolled a bit downtown with Hailee and David, starting out with the laid-back swank of the Barking Dog Coffee Lounge – owned by good friends Joey and Tanya Crawford, the pumpkin pie latte is perfect this time of year, tell’em I said so. 🙂 Back to Hailee and David’s engagement session – following a few sips of the latte, we moved on to making images in the awesome light coming through the front windows reflecting in the walls of eclectic urban color: From there we moved on outside, visiting the Art Museum, Jefferson Theater – stepping under cover when sprinkles would start and then back out when the…

Jamie and Tyson’s Engagement
Jamie and Tyson are getting married soon in Silsbee and I am so excited to be photographing the festivities! This morning we spent some time around Beaumont taking a few portraits of the gorgeous engaged couple – we weren’t going to let a thing like Hurricane Ike get in the way… Fun and relaxed, the morning went by in the blink of an eye! 🙂 These should be enough to wet your whistle, the rest are coming soon… I can’t wait for the big day! Thank you for allowing me to take part 🙂
