    Southeast Texas Seniors | Brittany

On a cold windy Sunday afternoon Brittany and I got together (along with plenty of uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins and mom 🙂 ) to photograph her senior portraits in and around Port Arthur. With her coming graduation from Memorial, this Titan is soon headed to the University of Houston campus 🙂 The area is beautiful, too bad we were nearly blown away by the wind that day. Taken in and around the seawall and Lamar State College Port Arthur, I love the historical part of Port Arthur. This one was taken downtown, around the old greyhound bus terminal. There are some beautiful abandoned buildings all around there, and one playful…

    Southeast Texas Seniors | Shelby

Today we get to see what a windy day will bring you, awesome photos of Elissa‘s BFF from Little Cypress Mauriceville – Shelby 🙂 🙂 The weather has been beautiful most days the past few weeks and this day was no exception – we didn’t even need a fan for Shelby’s model portfolio for Hollister 🙂 Just one more before we moved on to a local park for a softer setting: Beautiful smile and eyes 🙂 Unfortunately, the freeze from a couple months ago really did a number on most of the green stuff, so we opted for more granite, water, brick, and stone. The athletic Battlin’ Bear duo Elissa…

    Emily and Laura’s Graduation Week

This past week has been a busy one for Kathy and Mike, as their 2 daughters both graduated! Laura, as co-valedictorian from the prestigious “Texas Academy Of Leadership In The Humanities”: And Emily, from the University of Houston with a degree in Industrial Design: We spent Saturday in the park photographing some celebration photos of both of them – some together and some 3 feet off the ground 🙂 I can vaguely remember feeling like that when I graduated, tho I didn’t get that much air when I celebrated 🙂 It had been a while since Emily had gotten any portraits done, so we had some fun and shot some…

    Jharell’s Senior Session

I wanted to go ahead and put up Jharell’s images from this past weekend. We were in and around Port Arthur and got some very nice images for his Senior year at Memorial High School 🙂 Jharell plays football (yes, I saw your picture in the Beaumont Enterprise website 🙂 ) and runs track so we thought it would be good to begin with some photos of him at the school in his letter jacket: Then we moved on to greener pastures, getting some great photos around town, at the water, wherever – Jharell is laid-back and the session flew by. We got quite a few great senior portraits, I’ll…

    Krista’s Senior Pictures

We recently spent an afternoon with Krista (Westbrook Senior Class of 2009) in and around downtown Beaumont, rocking her Senior Portraits. She’s involved quite a bit in theater, we’ll have some more images from there soon, but we kicked it urban style this afternoon for the most part. Luckily Karen was along, because the wind was something fierce that day – these turned out quite nice. Krista is definitely photogenic and they showed in this model session. Here’s one image from the new Beaumont Community Players’ Theater, kind of old-school glamour. More to come soon. 🙂

    Austin Seniors

I had a lot of fun in Austin a couple weekends ago, photographing Emily and Jordan for their senior pictures – they were models for a day 🙂 Our first senior session of the year – the wind chill must have been in the 30’s, but these two pushed on, leaping, jumping, hanging from rope – nothing would get in the way of outstanding senior year images! We definitely had a lot of fun, each just kinda did their own thing and we did our best to capture what made them, them. There were waaay too many images to blog all of them, a sure sign we had a blast!…

    Malissa

Malissa contacted me a few weeks ago about shooting a photo session to include as gifts to family for the upcoming Christmas holidays – what a great idea! The session was fun, relaxed and I only got a little horse poo on my shoes during 🙂 We started out in a more urban location, looking for a little something different. The morning sun beams made for some outstanding photos: Then we moved on to a local ranch, getting some nice photos with her horse “cricket” and the surrounding pastures and river: I really enjoyed the session and Malissa has some great photos she can use for gifts. 🙂
