April and Michael are Married!

You may remember April and Michael’s gorgeous sunlit engagement session from a couple months ago. They finally tied the knot on another beautiful sunny day at Wesley United Methodist Church here in Beaumont!

In looking back at how I processed the following images, almost every one April is in is black and white – I guess it’s her classic beauty look that draws me to a classic black and white wedding photography style. Whatever my method, these really turned out well





Oh, Michael is all about music – playing it, singing, etc. I’ve seen him playing at Logon Cafe before in one of a few different bands, playing several instruments like a virtuoso. It only stands to reason they’d have strings playing in the ceremony:





April and her dad Ted getting ready to walk down the aisle. I love this moment when the doors are flung open and the bride is standing there backlit with sunlight pouring through:

At the reception, the music gets cranked up, cake gets eaten, bouquets get thrown… but this little girls wants nothing more than to play the drums:
