Amy and Trey – Engagement in the Rain

For those who remember the recent monsoon, that was the great fine day Amy and I had chosen to photograph her and Trey’s engagement session. Even right up the time to begin and on into the session, we kept thinking – “hey, we can make this work” – mother nature (or at least the front blowing across Texas) had other plans, as by the end of our time together we could barely see each other 🙂

We began innocently enough with the classic “American Gothic” at a barnyard in China, Tx 🙂

Raindrops kept falling on our heads… it was easy to get a little disappointed, until we just decided we weren’t going to stop the rain by complaining and just go with it. 🙂 We’re going to re-schedule soon, but for now, here’s a few of my favorites of the rain falling mainly on the plain in China:
