Beaumont Weddings ~ Bonnie and Oscar, Part II
After the wedding ceremony at St. Jude’s, we have a break of several hours as JoAnn of Schwartz and Woodward makes ready the reception, a beautifully tented event in Bonnie’s parent’s backyard. Everything went perfectly!
Nadine, from “Who Made the Cake” brought the custom cake and cupcakes over from Houston – I cannot lie, they tasted even better than they looked π
Bando’s provided the catering (excellent as always), and the mariachi band from Houston kicked off the entertainment. I’m an old band nerd and these guys were outstanding!
Great heart-felt emotion as Bonnie’s parents toast and give their blessings to the newlywed couple.
Nothing shows how much fun a reception may be more than the flowergirls on the dance floor – twirling to their hearts’s content.
The bigger girls enjoyed it just as much π
I’m not 100% sure what Bonnie is saying here, but I believe Oscar got the message π
Life begins at 80 – Bonnie’s grandmother probably enjoyed the day more than anyone π
The fireworks, pyrotechnics and lighting for the reception were outstanding! Yes, we had a burn and fireworks ban in effect, but the fire marshall was on hand to make sure everything was safe.
A shower of rose petals was a great way to end the day. π
Au revoir!
Amazing day!
