Nederland Weddings | Amy and Sam

Another beautiful day for a wedding! 🙂





Amy and Sam were married recently at St. Charles in Nederland and after their beautiful ceremony the fine folks at The Elegante made sure the reception went smoothly. Seconded by the always great Marius, the whole day was a lot of fun – here are a few of my favorites 🙂

The day began early at the Beau Cheveux Salon in Nederland – when we finished I believe a mushroom cloud of hairspray rose over Mid-County:

Meanwhile the Grand Ballroom at the Elegante is just about ready:

Sam proposed at Disney World and before they left they purchased the Mickey and Minnie Mouse Cake Topper that you now see on their wedding cake (aawwwww!) 🙂 I love hearing the back stories to such things that personalize their day for them! 🙂

By now Amy and her girls have progressed towards her parent’s home to get a bite and put finishing touches on all the bridesmaids. There’s something about the beehive of activity that makes up a wedding day:

The beehive moved to the church not much later and it was all hands on deck as the girls focused on getting Amy ready for her big moment:





In all the excitement of new nail polish, a couple did lose their focus just a bit:

From there they were whisked on to the Elegante for their reception where Sam swept Amy into his arms:
