    Beaumont Bridal Portraits | Krystal

Krystal’s lovely wedding passed last week and tonight we get to share a few of her bridal portraits we created on a cold sunny day back in January 🙂 We began at the Beau Reve Mansion in Groves – always a gorgeous location for photo sessions, they’re now hosting receptions and other events. The furniture is very classic/vintage, and Krystal’s beautiful dress complimented the decor nicely: We stepped out on the front balcony for a few moments – a string of pearls and a bright red sweater that matched her shoes added the perfect splash of color and texture 🙂 Upstairs we found a sitting area in an alcove –…

    Nederland Bridal Portraits | Ashley

Yesterday we were a part of Ashley and AJ’s beautiful wedding at Nederland’s First Baptist Church, today we get to share some of her gorgeous bridal images from a cold but clear day right before Christmas 🙂 Up first is the image she chose to display in large format at her reception – beautiful dress and bouquet: I love the vintage feel of this one: We were having some lovely late Fall weather that day 🙂 It is all about the shoes… 🙂 A few more below, I’ll be posting their signature guestbook next!

    Beaumont Bridal Portraits | Kyra

This past Saturday I spent the day with Kyra and Ian in their beautiful wedding at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church here in Beaumont with a fun reception at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens, which means today I get to share a few favorites from her bridal session a few weeks ago 🙂 Here she’s touching up her lipstick before we move into full vogue 🙂 This is the portrait she chose for display at her reception – it looked really good in metallic with a nice frame 🙂 Kyra’s eyes were gorgeous… and I love how her necklace sparkles in the touch of light: More pretty eyes, smile and sparkly bling…

    Morgin’s Bridal Portraits

Morgin and Patrick’s wonderful wedding was this past weekend, so today we get to see her bridal portraits. 🙂 We photographed her downtown in the Neches Room where they held their wedding reception. Morgin looked incredible, her dress definitely fit Morgin’s Cinderella wedding 🙂 This is the print she chose for her reception, a nice 24×30 metallic print on canvas, many people remarked that it looked like a painting: I loved how the light and shadow played across her dress, eyes, and arms. Here’s some dress lacing detail using the natural window light peeking through the veil lace: Photographers love this kind of light! I think even Ashton Kutcher could…

    Christin’s Bridal Portraits

Christin’s big day has passed and I can now post some of Jackie O’s portraits. 🙂 Christin and I met up in downtown Beaumont, choosing a site perfect for her retro 60’s style tea-length dress, hair and jewelry – very classic, very Christin. From the brooch to the pearl earrings and necklace, everything came together in a very “Dirty Dancing/Down With Love” glamour – elegant and not too over-the-top: Even the French-inspired netted veil worked perfectly for the entire ensemble 🙂 …and of course, with a dress like this one, we just had to take it out for a little spin 🙂 Christin and Eric’s wedding images coming soon! 🙂

    Gwen’s Bridal Portraits

Woo-hoo! Gwen and Don are married, so now I can post a few of her more stunning bridal portraits 🙂 The heat that day nixed any idea of photographing her anywhere outside, but that’s ok. Our alternate plan of shooting in Beaumont’s Jefferson Theater worked out really well 🙂 We went all over the theater – upstairs, downstairs, down in the dungeon downstairs, back in the VIP room, on-stage… places rarely seen by the public. Gwen even strummed a little of Don’s guitar on-stage 🙂 Even with all the architectural beauty there, the best light is almost always by the window: Here’s one in the backstage VIP room, with lighting…

    Stacey’s Bridal Portraits

Finally! I get to post some of my favorites from Stacey’s bridal session. 🙂 Because of the searing heat we’ve been having this summer, we began shooting Stacey’s bridal portraits in the relative safety of the Holiday Inn’s atrium. I love the mood of this black and white with her reflection on the baby grand: We got a lot of nice images there, but Stacey is more of an outdoors girl (to see just how much of an outdoors girl, wait for the next installment featuring their wedding 🙂 )… when we moved to the Botanical Gardens, she came alive and her personality just shown! We began with some nice…
