Amy and Trey are Getting Married!
We recently posted our engagement session in the rain with Amy and Trey – we went with the flow, but the rain really wasn’t the setting we were wanting for these lifetime memories. 🙂 After rescheduling for another day, the weather turned out *perfect* and today we get to share a few of our favorites from their session on a friend’s property in China. Amy and Trey are an awesome couple with a ton of personality and were so much fun to work with, it was great to get to know them better 🙂 Trey made a great prop that afternoon – he should consider being a model 🙂 *Great*…

Great News!
As we get to the end of 2011, our best year yet, Marius and I would like to thank all our brides and grooms we’ve gotten to know over the past year. Your sharing our vision for what’s important in capturing your life’s best moments have allowed us to find those genuine real moments and gorgeous details throughout the year! That leads me to the next bit of news: I’ve been accepted into the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), an International, membership-based organization representing professional photographers skilled in the documentation of weddings and events in a candid, unobtrusive style. The following is some of my favorites from the afternoon 🙂 We began on the steps of the Admin Building – beautiful columns. Egged on by her sister Stephanie,…

Galveston Engagements ~ Katie and Neal are Getting Married!
Katie and Neal met on a blind-double-date turned single-blind-date in Galveston, love bloomed in the sunset along the Galveston bay and the rest is history! 🙂 Neal, a real man’s man, doesn’t like to admit his heart went pitter-patter on that first eventful date, but Katie was all abuzz with the story when we met recently back at the scene of cri… er, where they met and where Neal proposed. 🙂 The Colonel Paddle Wheel boat played a significant role in their love lives – it’s where the sunset cruise that eventful first date ignited the spark and later, in the shadow of the paddle wheeler and Moody Garden pyramids,…

Rachel and Cody are Getting Married!
Rachel and Cody will be tying the knot this coming summer and today I get to share a few of my favorite images from their recent engagement session! 🙂 If you’ve been reading these pages for a while, you know how much I prefer to photograph couples in their own environment, places that mean something to them as a couple. Getting in line with the hundred other couples in front of the waterfall at the local park just isn’t me – these mean *so* much more when we can take a part of their lives together and entwine them into their photos. So you know I was happy to hear…
