Malissa
Malissa contacted me a few weeks ago about shooting a photo session to include as gifts to family for the upcoming Christmas holidays – what a great idea! The session was fun, relaxed and I only got a little horse poo on my shoes during π We started out in a more urban location, looking for a little something different. The morning sun beams made for some outstanding photos: Then we moved on to a local ranch, getting some nice photos with her horse “cricket” and the surrounding pastures and river: I really enjoyed the session and Malissa has some great photos she can use for gifts. π

Hurricane Ike
Just a quick note to all our wedding, engagement and bridal clients: we’re evacuated from Beaumont to Louisiana due to the mandatory evacuation of Hurricane Ike. I am still available by phone and email, but won’t be able to photograph for a few more days as we are unable to get back home yet. I’ll keep you updated as things progress.

Night Time in Venezia
I want to post a series of images captured in our recent travel to Venice, Italy. Gentlemen, if you ever have the opportunity to take your loved one to an international destination like Venice, Paris, London – run, do not walk, to the nearest travel desk at travelocity, expedia or hotwire. These places are perfect for honeymoons, engagements, and anniversaries. I am always available for destination weddings and engagements sessions, so feel free to ask – I can assist you with the arrangements. It really is a reasonable investment if you plan ahead and look in the right places π After a day filled with site-seeing, prosciutto, gelato, and seafood,…

Carrie Underwood
I don’t get to go to many concerts since our little one’s birth, but since Melanie’s birthday was coming up fast, I decided a couple tickets to multi-Grammy winner Carrie Underwood’s concert would be a nice gift. Held in the local Ford Park Arena, the venue was packed with thousands of rabid Carrie Underwood fans: The price of concert tickets these days is crazy, but we weren’t disappointed in the performance Carrie Underwood put on – Amazing! The band and backup singers are the best in the business – young and talented. The lightshow and “laser beams” really added to the atmosphere. π She rocked all her #1 songs and…

Linda and Chris’ Wedding
Finally! π I just have to post a few of my favorite images from Linda and Chris’ recent wedding – the color was beautiful, but for most of the following photos black and white seemed to fit the mood better π Chris is my nephew, recently home from Iraq and the Marines and Linda is his gorgeous bride from Harlingen, Texas. Lots of family from both sides attended, Linda and Chris will have plenty of support as they start out in life together. We love you both! π But wait! I am getting ahead of myself… the day started off like most summer weddings in South Texas – hot with…

Summer!
While waiting for Chris and Linda’s wedding photos to be posted, I thought I’d give you a look at one of the more eligible bachelors in Texas enjoying the peak of summer play. Stand in line ladies, he’ll be available ~2027 π For those who have met the little guy, you know one of his favorite things about summer is watermelon. He can eat his weight in the delicious summer fruit and will give you a good 2-foot stomp if you take it away before he’s eaten most of the rind π mmm… He spent most of his day playing in the sand or the water’s edge – and…

Linda and Chris’ Harlingen Texas Wedding – Sneak Peek
Recently I had the honor of photographing Linda and Chris’ wedding ceremony and reception in Harlingen, Texas. Beautiful service, handsome groom and gorgeous bride π Their images are on the way to them, so I thought I’d post a sneak peek for them until I can get more online π As you can see.. Chris wasted no time once the pastor gave him permission… π
