Chocolat
We interrupt your scheduled broadcast of bridals, engagements, seniors and weddings to bring you Elise’s first chocolate face. That is all. 🙂

Linda and Jusselin
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing my nephew Jusselin’s and his bride Linda’s wedding. Seconded again by the up-and-coming wedding photographer Marius, we were blessed to be a small part of a intimate and moving service. Those of you who have been following us for a while may remember that I photographed his brother Chris (and his bride, also named Linda 🙂 , (who, btw, birthed a brand new baby Friday night! )) last year about this time as well. Jusselin and Chris’s mom Michelle passed in a car accident when they were both infants/toddlers and they’ve had a bit of a rough upbringing. It’s been great to…

Avery in Ebony and Ivory
Our daughter Elise’s best friend called us up one day wanting her pictures taken. She’d grown quite a bit in the last few months and wanted to share her new-found chubbiness with the world. She’s a bit fond of the dramatic and agreed we could only do her justice if we did her pictures in black and white: We also took a few with her family, including her mom Michelle, dad Adam and big brother Aiden. Aiden was a bit distracted by the nearby pretty girls, but we pulled off some quick nice images: What good is a girl’s photo session if you can’t wear your tutu? I’m ready for…

Cuteness et Deux
I’m about to head out on a gorgeous day to photograph a wedding, but I just had to post a couple more proud da-da images from this past week (those on Facebook may have already seen these – by the way, we are on Facebook, check out our page here and become a fan. 🙂 ). Krista’s Senior images are coming up next, I promise 🙂

Paris la nuit (Paris at Night)
We temporarily take a break in your scheduled wedding, engagement and senior photography to bring you the continuation of our “at night” series. The first you can find here – “Night Time in Venezia” – here we show a few of our favorite images from Paris. Evening descends on Paris: There’s something about strolling Paris at night – the activity in the main boulevards is amazing, nothing like peaceful Venice – you’ll get run over if you move too slowly, but since the cars and scooters are so small it will be merely a flesh wound. 🙂 Once you get off the main thouroughfares and into the neighborhoods, it quietens…

Easy Like a Sunday Afternoon
You just gotta get your camera out when Elise is enjoying her lazy Sunday afternoons this much. I’d have to have my proud dad license revoked or something. 🙂 I got David’s swing out of the attic after being in storage a year and a half or so and since the batteries still worked… we decided Elise needed to try it out, I think she’s adapting quite nicely, don’t you think?

Oh Brother!
The other day I met my brother Jerry and his three sons downtown for some fun family portraits. It had been a while since the last ones and was time – they’re growing up so fast. Owen is playing basketball at Ozen High School, Zach is busy with the band at Odom Academy and Aden is playing soccer at his school. They wanted something a little different and fun – here’s a few of what we got 🙂 We began with some nice, smiling into the camera photos, then moved into some more fun images: A while later I asked them to show me some of the most awesome ninja…
